Douglas H. Kleiner
President/CEO
Prior to becoming President/CEO of the Education Foundation, Mr. Kleiner worked with large non-profit organizations in California, Florida and Texas over a period of 25 years. During his time in Florida, he served as a thesis advisor to students in the International Baccalaureate Program. He later consulted extensively for many years with private schools in Arizona, California, Washington and Colorado. He stopped traveling to become a volunteer at the Astrodome from the first moments of Hurricane Katrina through the time of Hurricane Rita; in early 2006, Mr. Kleiner joined the Foundation and put away his gold airlines cards forever. Mr. Kleiner received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and another in Comparative Religious Studies from the University of Puget Sound in 1973 and a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Washington in 1976. In 2001, the faculty and Board of Governors of the Hebrew Union College conferred an Honorary Doctorate, in recognition of career accomplishments.

Community Leadership Board (CLB)
Community Leadership Board for After School ("CLB") is an advisory board of the Education Foundation. The CLB devotes its efforts to increasing awareness in the community of the importance of After-School enrichment programs being available to all children and to providing access to such programs. In addition, the CLB provides input on the quality and effectiveness of After-School Enrichment programs to insure that after-school extends daily scholastic learning, widens experiential horizons and promotes socialization while educating children in vital life skills so they can productively contribute to our community now and in the future.

All-Earth EcoBot Challenge Executive Committee
The All-Earth EcoBot Executive Committee is comprised of corporate and business leaders who envisioned the initiative in 2008 and continue as volunteers to assist in its direction and management. For example, Donna Cole, CEO & President of Cole Chemical serves as Chair and Bob Rehak, CEO & President of Rehak Creative Services, handles contest design and manages the EcoBot web site. Others play additional leading roles. The Committee is open to new members as more corporations and businesses ante in to the exciting world of the EcoBot Challenge.
